Description
A vibrant and refreshing Peach Sangria made with ripe peaches, dry white wine, citrus slices, and a touch of bubbly. Perfect for summer gatherings and easy to prepare.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio works well)
- 2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
- 1 cup peach nectar or juice
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (such as triple sec or Cointreau)
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
- 2 cups sparkling water or club soda, chilled
- 2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup (optional, adjust based on sweetness preference)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Wash all fresh fruit thoroughly. Slice the peaches, orange, lemon, and lime into thin, even rounds or half-moons.
- In a large pitcher, combine white wine, peach nectar, brandy, and orange liqueur. Stir gently.
- Add the sliced peaches and citrus fruits to the pitcher. Stir to distribute fruit evenly.
- If desired, add honey or simple syrup for extra sweetness. Stir until dissolved.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight to meld flavors.
- Before serving, slowly add chilled sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently.
- Pour into ice-filled glasses, include fruit slices, and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- Choose ripe but firm peaches for best texture.
- Use good quality dry white wine, avoid overly oaky or sweet wines.
- Chill sangria for several hours to meld flavors and mellow alcohol.
- Adjust sweetness with honey or simple syrup to your taste.
